Local sync between Mac OS and iOS
I know there is no Metanota for iOS so I think it is a dream to have a local sync (without iCloud, DB or SimpleNote ...)

Global keyboard shortcut to create new note
A global keyboard shortcut to popup a new note entry window. Pressing this key combination would be available whether or not Metanota was in focus or not.

Double-click open note in separate window
Double-clicking (keyboard shortcut too) will open a note in a separate window. This makes things easier when you must view more than one note at a time.

Press Shift+Tab to decrease indentation of list item.
Press Shift+Tab to decrease indentation of a list item. For good outlining, this is a must have. Thanks.

Make 1.5 line spacing optional, so note can look like it does in SimpleNote
Allow note to look as it does in SimpleNote, without the mandatory wide spacing between lines.

Sticky search bar
It would be useful to have an option to permanently show the search bar once the program has been launched.

Copy markdown text to the clipboard as HTML or RTF
It would be very useful if markdown formatted text in Metanota could be copied to the clipboard in HTML or RTF format. In this way text could be easily exported to a blog or a Word text.

Access local folders
I'd like to be able to work with local folders.. then I could sync with Dropbox. This would be a good solution for working with iPad programs such as Notesy which support folders?

Add tags
Tags should be kept separate from the concept of folders. I like the folders, but would like tags that are not folders.

Simplify the UI
The architecture of the app is exactly what I'm looking for — particularly the ability organize by tag/label — and I'm ready to switch from nvAlt and purchase your Pro version. But... the UI is clunky.
Open Sans is not a good font for small sizes and just bad for UI. It lacks the letter spacing/forms and spacing that Lucida Grande does. Some ideas: http://tinyurl.com/6yxoz4q
There's appears to be no option for picking a note font. Why? Again, Open Sans is not a good font here. When writing/coding allowing for user preference is critical.
The button sizes are inconsistent and…

Give Optional access to ads in Pro version
I'd like to support Metanota, but I also like seeing the ads. I'd like for you to have a button in the Pro version, or a menu option, that would let the user scroll through all the current ads. If you plan to do this, then by all means I will upgrade to Pro.

A writing only mode
I would like to be able to enter a "writing only" mode where the only thing I see is the note editing portion of the 3 panes. This way I'm not distracted by folders, or anything else and I can simply focus on writing content.

prepend Metanota notes with -- Metanota:
By typing
-- Metanota: 2.0 - What's New
-- Metanota: How to write notes using markdown
-- Metanota: etcYou will end up with all of your notes being grouped together regardless of the sorting mechanism.

Correct Secure Input Mode
From time to time, MetaNota disables TextExpander. On this page http://smilesoftware.com/TextExpander/secureinput.html#Metanota%20Pro I found this is because MetaNota leaves Secure Input enabled. This happens erratically.

Create a shortcut for show/hide Metanota and another shortcut for new note.
This is customizable in Notational Velocity and pretty time-saving.

Make URLs live clickable links in a note
Unless I've missed it would be nice to have URLs as clickable links in a note - similar to Simplenote on iOS or JustNotes on the Mac.

Put notes in folders by typing the folder name, rather than clicking
I like Metanota. I simply prefer the keyboard over clicking.
