Local sync between Mac OS and iOS

I know there is no Metanota for iOS so I think it is a dream to have a local sync (without iCloud, DB or SimpleNote ...)

    I'm puzzled by the absence of an iOS version. It seems obvious to me that the ideal is to have the same interface on as many of your devices as possible, why learn more? So if I have to use - say - Evernote on my iOS devices, why would I not use Evernote on my Mac?

    I find the metanota user interface great, I'd like to use it everywhere but I can't.
